Develop a management plan for the Nature park Belasitsa

The main objectives of the project are:

1. Protection and maintenance of the biological and landscape diversity
2. Achieve a balance between conservation and sustainable use of the resources

The secondary objectives are:

1. Preservation, restoration and maintenance of the cultural heritage
2. Achieve socio-economic benefits for specific target groups
3. Conduct research, raise environmental awareness, development of tourism and recreational use
4. Establishment of traditional land uses
5. Improving the management policy of the park directorate.

The management plan for Nature Park Belasitsa includes measures and activities to ensure the improvement, preservation and restoration of the natural environment and development of environmental infrastructure in the area.
The project is financed by the Operational Programme "Environment 2007-2013”.
